Ms. Puja Trivedi Parikh is a Licensed Psychotherapist and Behavior Analyst with a License in Clinical Social Work ( LCSW- NY, NJ, CT) and a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, who is in Private Practice. She has 12 plus years of providing Comprehensive Mental Health Services to Individuals and Children with Trauma, Depression, Anxiety, Parenting Consultations and addressing ADHD and Autism related challenges to help each patient make socially and personally impactful gains.
Puja offers treatment using an integrative and holistic approach, that is evidenced-based, culturally sensitive, ethically sound and treats the whole person, which includes the mind-body-spirit connection. Puja’s work is strongly guided by the belief that incorporating somatic psychotherapy principles, along with ancient eastern meditative and divination methods, make a significant impact in helping patients meet their goals towards self-awareness, finding balance, self-love and transformation.
Furthermore, Puja uses present and person centered behavioral therapy modalities that facilitate change by actively engaging the patient in identifying, defining areas they would like to strengthen in a compassionate and way that always promotes self-acceptance and love.
Puja received her B.A. with a major in Sociology and Minor in Public Policy, from The University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and Her Master’s In Social Work, with a Specialization in Clinical Mental Health, from New York University ( NYU). Following her Clinical Licensure, she pursued certification in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis, by completing additional graduate level coursework and clinical training to obtain her certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst ( BCBA).
